Our beautiful Netherlands is confronted day in and day out with a plethora of climate regulations imposed by Brussels. The situation is escalating and is going to affect us all.

The Vice President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans, is pushing through plans that will leave you, the ordinary citizen, at the losing end. He is proposing measures that will make you "pay more at the pump, for airline tickets and energy bills," as De Telegraaf reports. These plans are excessive and will hit all of us in our pockets.

As if that were not enough, the EU has now also placed a ban on the sale of gasoline and diesel cars. This makes driving a car less and less feasible for the average Dutchman.

Diederik Samsom, Timmermans' right-hand man, is lobbying the Hague to expropriate our farmers - a worrying development revealed by recent revelations.

The next step? Brussels wants to saddle our companies with a payment system for CO2 emissions. Who will pay for these costs? That's you, the consumer! This excessive interference will lead to rising prices and disrupt the normal routine of driving and shopping.

It's time to act. It is time for the Netherlands to oppose EU climate targets.

We ask Prime Minister Rutte to stand up to this excessive EU influence and protect our country. It is time to stop the Brussels over-regulation.
